I met this family 2 years ago when I had the pleasure of photographing big sister’s first year. I can’t wait to watch little Ava grow over the next year.

I first met this family back in March 2010 for big sister Maddie’s Easter portraits. I have enjoyed capturing the milestones for this family over the last 3 years, including the newborn and first year of their second daughter Ally, and most recently, their “mo-mo” girls born in April.

“Mo-mo twins” are mono-amniotic which means the babies are in the same sac in the womb and the pregnancy is very high risk. Emily, the mama, went inpatient back in January, and was there for 10 weeks an hour from home. I admire the strength and sacrifice this family made to make sure the twins were healthy! Sweet Sisters, Lydia and Piper {St. Joseph, MO Family Photographer}

I first started photographing this family 3 years ago when Lydia was born, and I had the great privilege of photographing Piper’s newborn stage as well.

Lydia has quite the personality and be-bopped out of her room decked out in diva gear while we were calming Piper so I captured a few images of her in her pink shades and a few other props she brought out. We all had a great giggle watching her strut her stuff.
